Sakhalin

I have just got back from a work trip to Sakhalin. It took 4 hours to get to Moscow and another 9 hour internal flight to get to Sakhalin. It is an island that has a great deal of natural beauty, not that I got to see much of that. The Russian people do not seem to smile very much and seem to share the hobby of drinking. As always with a business trip it would have been nicer to get a bit more of a feel for the place but on arrival I was warned to only take taxis that had been ordered by security and not go out alone in the evening.

So much for the glamorous jetsetting life of travel.

The honeymoon practice worked

It has been pointed out that this is not the most active blog but time seems to have flown by since the last posting. Sarah and I had a wonderful wedding and a terrific time sailing around Greece (She only thought she was going to die once!). We will try and be a bit more active with the posts. So to start off here is a picture of Sarah's twelve week scan. Bit disappointed it is not a puppy but at least there are no tentacles and it's human.
