Nappies

Obviously everyone with a small baby has nappies, or a very messy floor. Just to be that bit different we have ones made from bamboo. Non of that disposable convenience for us. We have been using them since Sarah and Amelia came back from the hospital. They are working very well at the moment.

Distributed Computing Tart

I love the idea of being able to contribute spare computing power to a big project. In the past I have helped with the search for a cancer cure, aliens, and a cure for aids. The latest I have come across is the BBC's climate change experiment. Now my PC spends its time contemplating a global problem.

The wait is over

At last Sarah and Mealy bug were allowed home tonight. Sarah will have to have an ultrasound scan every week to monitor her progress. So hopefully life can return to something more normal.

Still no Sarah :(

Yesterday proved to be a day of disappointment. We were hoping that Sarah would be coming home today. The results of her MRI scan were inspected by the consultant, she has to stay in and have another scan in the middle of next week. She is coping remarkably well but is rather bored with being confined to hospital.

Outside

Yesterday we ventured outside with Amelia for the first time. Sarah is going a little stir crazy after being indoors for two weeks. We were allowed out into the hospital grounds. I don't think Amelia was very impressed but Sarah was pleased to escape for a while.
